dull moments = non-existent in our home

 This is the conversation that took place in our kitchen about 10 minutes ago! LoL

Dryden- "dad, when is father's day?"
Doug- "its just over a week away, next Sunday I think"
Dryden- "ohhhh...okay.... Well we didnt get you clothes for Father's day, we just didnt get you anything yet. You'll just have to wait and see"

----------semi-long pause--------

Doug " Oh, okay. Well eat some lunch now you boys"
Dryden "but dad, we just didn't get you clothes for father's day. We didnt get you anything yet, but just NOT clothes. okay dad?"
Doug glances at me and I'm just smiling and thinking "that dryden!!!" lol

So if the man of the house did not catch those "subtle" hints at one of his father's day gifts, then he sure is good at pretending ;-)


Ohh, another silly moment with these little men of ours.

Dominic-"Mom, whats your dad's name? I know mosom is your dad but not really your dad...so whats your dad's name?"
Me- "ohh, that's right. Mosom is my step-dad, but my real dad's name is Gary"
Dryden pipes in "ohhh, gary is Spongebob's snail...is your dad a snail?"
Dominic- (haphazardly paying attention to the conversation by now)- "no dryden, mom's dad jerry cant be a snail, or mommy would be a snail and we would be baby snails"..
Reece HAD to add his input- "auughhhhhhhhh, baby snails!!!!" and busts out laughing!

There is truly NEVER a dull moment in this house!
