This is the HAPPY update lol
About my little guys! They are still growing at rapid speed and such a joy to be around! lol
Dryden only has FOUR weeks of K5 left, and then my firstborn will officially be done. Then he will move onto GRADE ONE. Isn't it amazing how time flies! He has grown and matured SO much in this past year. He cannot wait "to be six, like his friends"; and wants to celebrate his birthday at Chuck E Cheese-and- asked for an Xbox 360 for his birthday....pffft, good try son, but no 6 year old will be receiving an xbox for his birthday, in this house lol
He's reading more and more each day, and is teaching himself to read "Hop on Pop" by Dr,Seuss. He loves Eric Carle and Dr. Seuss books. He can spell the names of everyone in his family (mom, dad, himself and his brothers). He loves t-ball, and can't wait for soccer season to start. As well as he can't wait to beable to sign up for basketball. =) He's such a caring and gentle big brother, and always stops to show Reecey what he's doing. Loves to wrestle and bug Dom on a daily basis though lol it goes both ways I guess lol
Dominic is my little sidekick. He's my super-sensitive boy, and is so intuned to other people and their feelings. He can be super sweet and charming, then can be naughty at the drop of a hat lol He is a real "by the rules" kid, and is quick to let you know if you aren't following directions well or "doing it right" lol He is not looking forward too starting K5 in the fall-because quote "I just love you SOO much mom, and dont want to leave you. I love being home with you and little Reecey. I never want to go to school!!!!" lol He gets annoyed rather easily and loves to be in control or The Boss *hmmm, wonder where he gets that from lol*. Dominic is a little golfer at heart. He has a serious knack for the game, and such a steady arm for it. He has a pretty powerful backswing, and will line up his club ever-so-gently and steadily, when he's putting. He loves to go to the driving range with his dad, and grasps onto the game so quickly. He sets up little obstacles in the living room, so he can challenge himself and lately, has shown me how he can get his ball to do a "chip-in"...some raw talent he displays! When the boys get to pick our family acitivity, it's always something different-but for Dom it'll be Putt mini-golf if its a cold day out, or the Bridge Valley golf if its nice! ;-) Keep it up son, you're a natural.
Reece is the baby of the family, and he knows it. His brothers get very agitated with him because he copies and mimicks everything they do and say. We try explain to them that its his way of showing them that he looks up to them, but they arent having it lol. He LOVES Woody (aka Dudey) and Toy Story anything; and has taken the most intense liking to THOMASSSSS the train! He's the very first of our three boys, to have gotten stitches. He was trying to defy gravity, and was jumping off everything at a new park we were visiting; and he landed on his head on the pavement. Poor dudey, had to get two little stitches. But hes a trooper and likes to show you where his "owwie" is lol. He loves listening to music and his favorite songs are "Play it Loud" by the B.E.P and "Replay" by Iyaz. Whenever "Cowgirls dont cry" by brooks and dunn comes on, he says-quote "I like dis song. Itz a nice song!" =D He still has a love for his beloved "soosie" aka soothy! That boy needs to be weaned from it asap! lol
As for Doug; he's completed his 3rd year of his University studies. I'm so proud of him. He's accomplished so much, and continues to display such great success in his achievements. We've kept this next part to ourselves for awhile, but he's fully invested himself in wanting to pursue a Law degree, after he obtains his Bachelor of Science degree next spring. I am SO proud of him, and know that whatever he puts his mind too, he will achieve. He's very busy with preparing for the upcoming LSAT exam that he's going to write. As for law school admissions and registrations, I'll keep that info to myself for a little while longer ;-) Lets just say "his futures so bright, he has to wear sunglasses!" HAHAHA I crack myself up! lmao...good to know I can still dish out the lameness! hahaha jk
He's employed with the BTEST summer student program, and was offered a great position with a department on the reserve. He's already obtained so much in these few short weeks, and loves the challenges of his work. The pay isn't too bad either ;-) lol
We are following the Stanley Cup playoffs and have adapted our attitudes with "ABC"-"anyone but calgary" and "anyone but canucks"......two of the worst teams in the league! grrrrrrr >:/ lol jk
okay, I'm off to bed! I hope you've enjoyed the positive update and the updates on the wonderful males in my Life. =) g'nite!
